In a Name Project: Kurt Cobain

“What’s in a name?” as Shakespeare’s Juliet once said. In the case of Kurt Cobain, his name has quite a lot behind it. For this project, I was asked to choose the name of a famous person and design around it. Pulling from not just Kurt's rock background, but also excerpts from his journals which truly depicted the inner workings of this uniquely tortured soul. Shown here is one of the name iterations as well as a portrait of Kurt himself.
