Exercises in Style

For this project, I was asked to work within three specific design styles to create portraits of a personal object (a handcrafted necklace). After working through each style individually, I then had to combine them, creating a unique mixture of stylistic choices. Here were my styles: Americana, focusing on American nationalism, New Wave Design, channeling concepts of Post-Modernism, and lastly Digital 1.0, a style based upon early computer technology from the 1980s up until the early 1990s. This was the final outcome.
